In a small bit of fortune, I am now the National Transgender Issues Examiner for Examiner.com.I started with Examiner.com approximately two months ago as the Denver Transgender Issues Examiner, covering issues of interest to the Denver and Colorado trans community. Now I have been moved to the national level, so will cover issues involving both the national scene and various local scenes across the country.
If you're not familiar with Examiner.com or the Examiner model, I will attempt to explain:
Examiner.com is a national news and information source, with Examiners based in approximately 90 cities across the country and expanding. Examiners are not bloggers. They are writers who have expertise in their particular topic area and who write about various issues germane to their topic, either with a local or national focus. They "examine" the topic that they have chosen to write about that particular day.
The articles can involve news, profiles, commentary, events, or other issues. There are a lot of interesting Examiners, ranging from the African American Community Examiner to the U.S. Intelligence Examiner to the Generation Y Examiner.
I am honored to be the National Transgender Issues Examiner and hope that you will check out my Examiner page and my articles. In addition, I invite topic suggestions from you.
If you live in the United States and are aware of interesting or important trans issues going on in your city or state, I would like to hear about them. If you live outside the U.S. but are aware of trans issues in your country that could have an impact on U.S. trans people, I would also like to hear about those.
There are so many local conferences, events, people, and things that are happening in various segments of the trans community that it is almost impossible to keep up, so I welcome any input that you have.
Please e-mail any thoughts and ideas to me by clicking on the "E-mail me" tab in the sidebar underneath my Welcome message.
I will continue to be posting here as well, so don't forget to come back! All my readers are very important to me, which is why I always invite and look forward to your input.

Congratulations! Although, I don't always agree with your positions, your viewpoint is always well reasoned, kick-ass, and often funny. I think the Examiner is the one that got lucky.
Thank you for the compliments! And I HOPE you don't always agree with me. I'm not always right--just always very opinionated!
