I might even buy his book when it becomes available (and, no, I don&amp;#39;t get a kickback--I don&amp;#39;t even know this guy; he&amp;#39;s not trans, and he just stumbled upon my blog because of this particular topic). &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;His blog seems to have good information about writing and publishing, it&amp;#39;s well written, and I&amp;#39;m going to take some more time to explore it. Companies that print in bulk will charge you a fee to print a large number of copies of your book--several thousand, sometimes.&amp;lt;&amp;lt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You&amp;#39;re missing a third method, becoming a _real_ self-publisher and have the books printed on demand, not in bulk.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You do more work but have more control and often get a better book, faster, and spend less money and make more money.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Michael N.
